    Default Fish Cleaning Table?

Anyone got a fish cleaning table at home they want to show off? I'd like to see pic's of what others are using. I would show mine - but I usually just use the bottom of a 55 gal plastic barrel. It is easy to rinse off, bit I normally have a backache before I'm done. I am feeling optimistic about this season & want to build a comfortable cleaning table for filleting all the slabs I hope to catch.

    Thanks.

    Thumbs up Bed Tray

I usually clean my fish on the tailgate of my truck but that gets to me after leaning down for awhile. I'm 6'4" and getting older....lol.
I bought a folding TV tray used for serving food in bed, placed a cutting board on top of it, cut a hole in it and inserted a plastic cup holder into that hole. This serves as a holder for a garbage bag, I simply slide the scraps in and bag it up when I am done.
It folds up and stores neatly in the back of my truck until I need it again.
No more backaches from leaning over and a garden hose cleans it all up.
    Cost.... approx. $8.50 total.
One more thing, I screwed on two Rapala knife sharpeners on the sides for convenience.
Will try to get a pic. on here soon.

I just made a table (stand) out of treated 2 by 4's and screwed a sheet of plexiglass on top. It's about 3 foot long and 18 inches wide. Easy clean.

I picked up this stainless steel table off of craigslist for $15.00. It sets behind the garage and works wonderfully.

    Default Cleaning table

The people at www.fishermanspro.com have a good cleaning table. I can sit on a 5 gal. bucket or folding lawn chair and clean fish all day without a back ache with this table.

We are fortunate here on Lake Nimrod that the Corp of Engineers have built covered fish cleaning stations at all the major parks. They have city water, concrete floors, lights, and a disposal system to grind up the "rines".
I just carry baggies and my fillet knife in the boat and stop on the way to the house.
