    Default Hybrid Crappie

Caught a nice example of a hybrid crappie today so thought I would share it. We have a good mix of black and white crappies in small lakes so they cross with each other at times. Anyone else catch these often???

I believe more people catch them than realize it, pay attention to them, or even care

Most any lake that has both species will likely harbor hybrids.

Here's another pic showing them :

I have caught a few of these Hybrids also over the years, sometimes I notice immediately, sometimes just on the cutting board. Nice pictures.
