    Default Best time of day

    Hi all...
New to this forum and new to crappie fishing. Just moved to Lake Oconee, so looking forward to some fine times. Just wondering if there is a best time of the day (or night) for crappie fishing? Lake water here is usually pretty stained I believe. Thanks!

You can post anywhere you like. Just pointing out that the Georgia forum has guys who regularly fish Oconee (and Sinclair.)

    Welcome aboard.

I think there are probably many different times for different days, weather, time of year, etc, etc, etc.
For me personally, I've found it best over the last 2 years to set a time that I have available and go at that time. If not
I could talk myself out of going due to the weather or come up with other things to do around the house.

I only get to fish 1 day a week and I've found that I stand a better chance of catching if I'm on the water as opposed to being in the garage.

Welcome from Alabama. They typically bite better 15 minutes before I get there and 15 minutes after I leave.

Welcome from Central Florida. My brother and his son fish Sinclair and Oconee, troll mostly.
