    Default Electric Filet Knife

Favorite or which you consider to be the best electric filet knife. I've been using the same regular Rapala knife for years. Time to go electric...I think.

I have a Mister Twister that I've had for a long time really like it, my buddy just received as a gift a American Angler electric and I watched him use it the other day and believe it will be my next one.. it seemed to be very sharp and the curve of the blade made it easier to fillet with.

Rapala electronic is what I use usually about 40 bucks at Walmart and can buy replacement blades for about 7 bucks ! a set of blades usually last a long time unless you cut into big bones a lot ! Will get warm after about 40 fish but I try not to clean that may at once !

American Angler by far. Spend the extra 25 bucks or so and get the titanium blades

I like the AA but they are starting to over price there self. Maybe another company will soon step up and make a better knife at a lower price.

Rapala in the past I have been an American Angler fan I have owned a half dozen Mr twister even two of the salt water models.
The other day I used a year old rapala that had dressed more big fish than most And it out performed my American with new blades. I went and got me a rapala on the way home

I’d Stick with the manual fillet knife. I’ve never bothered with an electric and I can clean a crappie in under a minute the hard way. Seriously, I’ve been timed
