Was just wondering if anybody went out and got a little revenge on those slabs in this nice weather, Please spill the beans as I need a good fix that someone is catchin em. Let me live through you crappie masters so that I may have the least little enjoyment

Went out for a few hours with the wife and caught 17 keepers. They were all in 20+ feet of water suspended out about 16 feet. Gonna hit it again tomorrow by myself. Been catching them all week too. Even in the cold weather they were hitting pretty good. The worst problem is the wind and trying to hold the boat steady.

Local conservation lake in Callaway county near Millersburg. If your familiar with the area you'll know exactly where.

I know exactly where. Fairly small, but close to home. I went to Truman, and the surface temperature went from 49 - 54 degrees. Nothing warmer. Crappie had lockjaw. I parked my camper in the campground, left my boat in the slip and am going back Wednesday.

That fairly small but close to home lake has gotten me over 250 fish in the past 2 weeks. Biggest one yesterday was 15". Gettin ready to head out now by myself. Just hooked the boat up and am waiting on some food to get cooked.:D

Would that lake be about 200 acres small?

I caught 30 more yesterday, and if I get off work early enough today I'm gonna go again. I'll give ya'll a little advise. Leave the minnows at home and fish in the deepest water you can find. They are suspended halfway down, but the big ones are in open water with no cover.
