Those are pretty neat. Would work great on a few water bodies here. Btw... nice looking fish.
There's a group of us here in West Texas that fish off of one man kick boats called water wagons. They were made up by Amarillo, but have been out of business for years. I run a Honda 2hp and a Garmin 250 fishfinder on mine. Had it for 16 years and can't imagine fishing without it. You only use the motor to get you to your destination, then use it like a tube, holding your position with swim fins. Here's some pictures from a creek we fished in March.

What are they made from?

Will fish for food!
Nice, but I don't think our gators would take to kindly to them.

Dang, that is good idia. It will get you to where the fish are and that is what matters. It sure looks like you know where to go to get the fish too. Nice catch there...

Looks like fun way to fish, but not to sure I would want to be on this lake in one when he weather turners bad.
Looks much better than the inner tubes we used to fish out of when I was a kid. We would sit in the middle with our feet over the front and keep our tackle box in our lap. It worked pretty good when we put on swim fins. We would kick our feet and go backward. The fun part was when your behind slid over a stump that you did not know was there!
They were made out of a foam called "arcell" that was shot into a mold under extreme pressure. It is slightly heavier than styrofoam, but much, much tougher. Also, petroleum products such as gasoline will not melt it.
I don't get in it very far east of Dallas (Gators), although I've tried to set up a trip to some gator infested waters for my brother in law.
As far as Toledo Bend when the weater turns bad, just like a big boat, you have to use common sense. We go to large lakes alot, but keep a close eye on the wind and weather.
It has provided 16 years of fun for me. You can work a brush pile from every angle, get as shallow as the wade fishermen, and shoot docks like the best.
