I had to replace a tire on the boat trailer the other day and behind the bearing was a huge wad of string. Never would had thought that to happen to the tires.

I do it during "boat maintenance" time, wash, vacuum, check TM and outboard props, check battery connections, trailer tires, etc. Probably monthly during the summer, and for sure before any big trips.

Checked mine last Thursday...did not find any line this time but have in the past. As said above...should be checked regularly.

A lot,of times, it’s not your line. It’s line your motor will find from someone else throwing it in the water.

Yep, check those wheel bearings also if you see some grease on the tires or rims.
