    Default Loving this

Well I’ve got to take my new kayak out twice. First time I just went out mainly to get used to it. Fished a little with no luck. Went back yesterday after work and fished a few hours. Caught a few. I’m getting a fish finder next week so hopefully that’ll help. But I absolutely love kayaking. I learned quickly I need plugs for the holes by the seat. My but gets soaked. Lol. But that’s my only complaint about my cheap yak.

Yup, learned same lesson quickly myself. The foam golf balls work good and are cheap. Usually yellow can be found in Walmart but amazon has a selection of colors if it matters to you. I also added the stadium seat to my lifetime tamarack angler and that raises you up as well. Haven’t had wet butt since.

I am gonna add the stadium seat soon too. The original one isn’t to bad uncomfortable but I have trouble with it slipping back.

Does the stadium seat make it any less stable?

Are you using just a basic stadium seat, or something made specifically for kayaks?

God bless you younger fellers... but as old and stove up as I am in my later years... I gotta have a good deal more boat under me than that.

I’m by no means a young feller. Lol. I’ve just always wanted one and I’m loving it. I crossed over less than a foot of water yesterday to get in some good water. I always wondered why boats were never in there.

He sent me a link to a YouTube video a while back. If I can find it I’ll send it to you. But it was just a basic stadium seat.
