Well done!
Some have
Some have not
I hit 2 lakes off docks the other day and both had females in 14 or so foot of water that in some cases had spawned some and in some cases had not . The males at both spots had real good colors flying and were all over the map . Some looked to have been busy quite a while and others looked like they just got to the dance .
One thing for certain when you spot crappie fry under a transom on a boat dock its a given that they have been busy for a little longer than folks say and think they have .Had a great time with Ez and Sk at the boat slips in the pm and did a little solo scouting in the early am. Lakes were far apart but similar to some degree on the way the fish were acting . Girls were staged deeper and boys 3 or so foot deep .
Stayed into the night a bit and found it to get slower as it got darker ?
Anyway I used a hot pink handtied jig for most of the 2 visits and changed to a pink head pearl body after dark .Sure was a pleasant day and we loaded a basket for Ez to take to someone that was in need of a fish dinner .
hope you enjoy the read and photos
Thanks again for the invite Ez and as always stay tuned
