Default Pushing rods - spider troll / slab city / others?

Looking for a set of 14s for pushing cranks. What do you guys like? My buddy has Ozarks which I liked, but want to make sure I’m making an informed decision.

If you’re going to be pushing cranks I wouldn’t suggest the slab city’s. I’ve got a set and absolutely love them, but don’t think I’d want over an ounce of weight on them. Spider Troll’s would probably be good for it. Could go the PST route too. Have seen a lot of guys talking about using and liking the SCR’s on here too. Don’t have any experience with Ozarks.

I am not a crank bait pushing pro but I have a set of Jenko Spider troll rods and absolutely love them for pulling jigs and for spider rigging. I have only pushed cranks with them for 3 days. Having said that, I would not suggest them as dedicated crank bait pushing rods. Tip is too light. I fished with Slabprowler for 3 days in MS last year and his rods did better with the 2 oz of added weight.

Southern Crappie Rods SCR143T. The T is for TOUGH and they will easily handle 2 ounces of weight.

BnM PSTs for pushing and pulling crank baits, BnM Capps and Colemans for spider rigging jigs and minnows, BnM Pow R Trollers for power trolling or pushing road runners with weights.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
