Ego Reach is what I have and really like it. Soon after I bought mine I replaced the net with a ghost rubber bag. Crappie tend to run from a black bag and hooks love one that ain't rubber.

Alpha hawk, that is a nice looking net. When I looked it up it looks like it cost around 200.00. Is that right?

Jenko is what I use and I love it! If you fish by yourself it’s even better because you can use it one handed easily

It’s around 130 bucks delivered....but yes expensive. This was just to give an idea of what is out there. There are several of those types of nets on eBay. And there is another thread somewhere on crappie.com talking about a similar net. While it is a lot of money it has been one of the best purchases I have made. I got a rubber basket off of eBay to put on there. I had an EGO Slider for years. But got to be too heavy for me and the slide was wearing out again.....they replaced the handle once.......so I just ordered this one.

I prefer shorter nets and to net the fish at the boat. Actually, I don't lift the fish out of the water in the net, rather lift with the pole and use the net as a safety in case the line breaks of the fish manages to throw the hook. This way I don't have to un-hook the net too.
