First off you need a picture hosting site.
I use Photo Bucket but there are others.

Upload your pic to the host. Then when you want to post it here. Click insert a image. I delete the Http in blue. Go to your host and copy your URL Link.
Put that into the box where you deleted the HTTP and your set.

PM me if you need more help.

Nope,, still has to do with your camera settings, I think.

Or maybe not. check your hose site and see what there settings are.

I'm really not the one to be giving advice when it comes to this computer stuff.

Heck with the pictures. Lets go catch some fish we can practice with.

you have downloaded your pictures in b/w, and not in color.

You really don't need to even use the "Insert Image" link, to get a picture to post, if you have your pictures on a hosting site (like Photobucket). But, when downloading them to your computer, from your camera or a scanner, be sure and check the box that says "color". Once they're on your computer, and you have a hosting site, upload them to the hosting site. I use Photobucket, because it has instant resize capabilities. I use the "Message Board" sizing ... 640x480 pixels. Once the pictures are in your host site "album" ... click on the IMG address (for a picture to appear in the post) or URL address (for a link to the picture) and copy it ... then come here and right click in your text box, and "paste" it into your message text. Just remember to hit the "Enter" key, a couple of times before and after you paste the picture's address into your message. This keeps your picture and message from running into each other. If you use Photobucket, you can left click on the IMG or URL address .. and it automatically "copies" the address for you. Saves you from having to right click to get the drop down menu, then choosing "copy" ... but, you can do it that way, too.
You can always use the "Test" forum ... to play around with your picture posting, and fine tune your abilities. Or, you can use the "Preview Post" button (below, and next to the Submit Reply button) and it will show you what your post will look like ... before you hit the Submit Reply button ... and you can rearrange things, in your original post, to suit you -- then, when you have your pictures & text set the way you want, hit the "submit" button and post them.
Any problems, or further advice needed ..... just PM me, or post them !!

    Default Use the "attachment feature

At the top of your message board, there's a small paper clip. This will allow you to post a picture without a host site.
