Cool It won't be long now!

Today for the first time in 66 straight days we got above freezing! The 14" of new snow we got Saterday melted down a lease a inch after that's gone....and the 20" of old snow under it....and the 30" of ice under that on the lake....I'll be boatfishing again!

We're going to send some warmer air your way, (from Kansas). Looks like most nights, for the next two weeks, the lows will be above freezing. Most of the large lakes are reporting 34 degree surface temps. In about a week that should come up to above 40. All the rain we're getting right now will help drive the temps up too. Maybe, late next week if we get a day near 60, I'll hit the creeks at the back of the lakes....And, this years crappie fishing will begin

Winter is slowly and begrudgingly giving way. We're starting to see day temps in the 40's & 50's. I can't wait!

Im here in S E Wis, and we have had a lot of snow also, theres still 1 1/2 ft in my yard, under that is 3 in of ice. I can't wait for better weather. We have heavy rain moving in for the next 2 days, some places are already flooding. It sucks.
We should have moved south years ago. To old now.
