Does anybody here crappie fish on Lake lanier?

Is lanier a good crappie lake? I have a boat docked at lanier and would love to get on some crappie, but everybody I know fishes for spots and stripers...

Yes, we fish for crappie on Lanier. This time of year is tough but we still catch a few. We usually fish out of Clarks Bridge or Little River. The best fishing will be just before spring (prespawn & spawn).
We were out about 3 weeks ago and had to dodge the stripper boats to get to a fishing spot.
Can't give you any info about the lower part of the lake. Maybe someone else on here fishes the lower lake and can help.
