How do you use this rig?

I was going through my tackle box a fee minutes ago and found this way down in the bottom. I've never used one and no idea what you do with it!!! It said crappie rig so my eyes lit up!

It’s a double minnow rig. Tie the barrel swivel to your main line and hook a bell sinker to the clip on the bottom. Rig it up with minnows and enjoy the thump

I use them spider rigging. Be sure to stay above the brush piles cuz it can get to be a nightmare if you get a couple hung up at once lol

My dad taught how to fish with a crappie double rig. They were very common in the 70's. Back then used baitcaster's with 17lb test. We fished for food not fun back then.

Dad taught use to use those fished under a bobber. Set-up as mentioned above, and cast out. bobber keeps bait at desired depth.

My mom's favorite set up. Put a crawler on the bottom a minnow on top a big steel nut with a piece of wire for a sinker cast out put rod in holder with a big bobber on top of rod and wait for walleye or northern pike. (bobber so you can see the rod from the camper) Lots of memories in that setup.

just a name for drift fishing with any number of poles out the front making your boat look like a spider. Most riggers only go 0.1 to 0.5 MPH.
I use 14' poles with 2 hooks 1 on top then about 18" down a 1/2 oz barrel sinker then another hook below that. Hope this helps you out
