If you are going to use it primarily as a casting rod (& not for bobber fishing), then you might want to look at the 6' ESP PowerLite or even the 6'6" ESP PowerLite. Both have the same length of rod blank past the front of the handle, as the only difference between them is the 6'6" ESP PowerLite has an extended handle (split handle or poodle tail as I like to call it) that's the 6" length difference. High Modulus Graphite blank & handle (Tenn style with ring grips), micro guides, very fast action tip, and metallic discs around the blank inside the handle (to transmit vibrations for more "sensitivity").
Best online price deal I know of is at Grizzly Jigs (see online catalog for availability & prices).
I use the 6'6" ESP PowerLite rod for most of my casting & dock shooting. I was given the rod by the VP of Marketing at Norsemen Outdoors, for field testing, and liked it so much that it led me to retire a couple of my other rods to "backup or guest rod" status.
