I got mine at Tractor Supply Company. Heavy duty zippers and "Blizzard" proof insulation. Very rugged. Heavy outer shell is not soft. Will not tear. They do have an online store.

Start with a cheap rain suit. It stops the wind from stealing your heat and holds heat in. Even the lightest, cheapest ones work great. Long john and jeans or sweats for the truck ride. Slip on the rain pants and coat as soon as you get out of the truck. Darker colors heat up in the sun light. You may find him opening up the coat to cool off.

For simple cold weather fishing were you are not dealing with rain, ice, or snow, I don't think you can beat a set of carhardt type clothing. There are several companies out there from Dickies to Burn, Walls, and everywhere in between. They do a great job at blocking the wind and have good insulation.

I prefer bibs that zip all the way up the front and up the sides for easy on and off and jackets with hoods (not a parka). If you go with black colors, you can get some residual heat from the sun as well.

I also prefer bibs and a jacket. Been overheated too many times in a coverall. The only coverall I own is meant to be layered.

I'm not a fan of coveralls either. I fish alone in the winter and if I fall out of the boat I want to be able to get out of wet clothes if I need to so I can get back in the boat easier.
