    Default Moon Jig

I was watching Crappie Masters last night, and noticed that they were using a thing called a Moon Jig tipped with a minner. This was down in Florida i believe. Does anyone on here use them much? I haven't seen them talked about much around here.
Thanks Roy thanked you for this post

Florida Crappie Club has lots of tournaments won on them down here. Getting them from Skippers Jigs.

They were tieing on a weight a couple of feet above and just tieing on a moon jig on the bottom and tipping them with a minner. It looks like it's just adding some color with the minner like if you tipped a normal plastic jig with a minner. I like how they are actually weighted. like the weight is on the hook itself right infront of the minner. Think I may get me a few to try when i rigg minners at Reelfoot.

Yep, spiderrigging tipped with minner. Those and the mylar jigs are the hot baits for those guys. I would think something like Donnies gnats would work too but they love them moon jigs.

I saw that too. If they work there, they should work here.
