Default Bowl Games, School Colors, and Crappie Fishing

I make no apologies.......I'm a footballholic (college), that is.
Also, I'm an old man now, so I naturally love crappie fishing.
So, I got to asking myself, what if my jigs and cranks were my school colors, what kind of success would I have? Didn't go to college, no problem. I have a friend who lost his mind a few years ago and had a gaudy Big Orange "T" indelibly etched into his left biceps, and he never went to that school!
My thesis is that if you fished with your school colors, you would be a better fisherman, because you would be a perpetual optimist......unless you too have that same "T" on yourself, your car or your shirt (hat), in which case you would be guilty of unrealistic expectations. I also think that this "system" would be as good as any to predict bowl game winners, the national champion, or whether so lunar tables are all their cracked up to be.
So what would your jig look like?
Mine would be Black, Gold, Gray.........11-2 thank you!!! Crappie? Results to be determined.

If I fished with my HS colors, it would be Blue/Gold (Henry Clay HS Blue Devils).

If I fished with the college colors, it would be Royal Blue/White (UK Wildcats). While I never attended UK (college), I worked for 45yrs at the UK Med Center Hospital.

To be quite honest, I don't use jigs with either color combo, and quite frankly I don't believe I even HAVE any of those color combo's in my arsenal. But, I'm pretty sure that if I did have/use those colors I'd probably catch Crappie on them.

Mine would be crimson and white (UA)....wouldn't catch fish though.

All the Crappie hold up signs saying they want us, but they really don't.

I ain’t fishin’ with no orange and white lure (my alma mater)! If’n We have to fish with school colors, I’m gonna enroll in a school with some chartreuse in the mix!

I just had to look at some of my old stash and found these. Don't remember ever using these before or solid orange.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

But didn't I read somewhere that you had settled on blue/white color when using DI ? Obviously constitutes scientific proof of my thesis!
