I had told several members who were interested in the Japanese style landing nets I would give a review when mine came in. Well it came in and have used it a couple of trips. I really like it. This may not be for everyone just showing a different option for nets. Hope you all enjoy.

That is a neat net. Sounds like you had an audience that liked it also. Those White Bass are a lot of fun to catch. What was the lure you caught the last one on? Were you vertical jigging it or casting? Thanks for yet another informative video.

Thanks.....that lure was a Z Viber in 1/16 with a single hook.....that’s the part I like about it. I don’t like lures with trebles. All those fish were caught vertical jigging......they wanted nothing to do with cast and retrieve. I had 2 days of that and must have boated more than 200 of those things. The first ones to show are usually small but this year they are really small. I did not do a video of the second day of fishing where I started out using the XUL but it was hard to feel the bite with that rod so switched back to the Corto Ajing rod. With that thing you can feel it if they sniff it......and for such a rigid rod it was a lot of fun even on fish that small.

That net looks smooth as silk. Thanks for the review and video.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
I love the smooth action on that net and how easy to maneuver one-handed it appears.
How much does it weigh?
Thanks for sharing.
That is one awesome net! I really enjoy vertical fishing for just about anything. I call it video game fishing, because you can see the school of fish and your lure headed down to them. You know you're going to get bit when it makes it way through the school. Feb/Mar here in N. Alabama produces some absolute little footballs on those white bass below Guntersville Dam.
Weighed it on my food scale....1 pound 6 ounces.

Thanks......Guntersville tailrace is much better fishery than Nickajack tailrace. I used to fish Pickwick tailrace until I moved further away and just too far to drive now.....but it fished a lot like Guntersville.

Thank you for taking the time. Is it obvious on the website about how to order the correct rubber netting?
