    Default Thoughts on fishing getaway

    Would you come

To lake Martin for a week. To fish and get away if I was offering a week stay in a two queen bed room with private bath for 500 a week ? Looking at a 25 room lodge with pier ,boat ramp and restaurants on premises. Also covered boat parking included. What's y'all s thoughts.

YOU CAN'T PUT A PRICE ON A SMILE!!!!!

    That’s a heck of a deal, IMHO.

I think if advertised correctly you could do well. Great striper fishing there as well.

Are you guiding us during that week's stay? If so, go ahead and sign me up! LOL
Seriously, that sounds very reasonable. Hot meals, a place to sleep, bathe, and fishing, all in one spot. What more could a man ask for!?

I know of a place just like that on Lake Martin, I'd make the trip once a year for sure

Would it be half as much if it’s a single bed? Most of my buddy’s still work so I travel alone most of the time.

Off season rates during spring I would entertain 350 a week for a single King. Chaunc that's 50 a night.

May through September. Would be my busy months for recreation rentals. Plus the crappie slow way down during those months. Fishing is good during the other times. End of sept until end of May. So that would work out good.

Sounds like a good deal for a destination fishing vacation.
Hope you can make the numbers work for you.
Is this package something the previous owners offered?

That is a great price! I used to pay that for a floating cabin on Lake Guntersville and loved every minute of it! I may have to talk to my dad and see if he is up to a early spring trip. He lives just south of Huntsville. We don't have a boat but have a good time fishing docks.
