Default Bad case of cabin fever

Seems like it's been forever since I've been able to get out on the water here lately between work constraints, and mechanical issues with the boat. I'm thinking about going to either Stockton (Cedar Ridge Area) or Pomme de Terre (Phillipsburg Landing) tommorow morning 12/9. Does anyone have any fishing reports or advice for fishing either these areas? It's pretty much an equal distance drive to either of the bodies of water for me. I've not fished Pomme De Terre very much, but I would like to learn more about it.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Timber close to the river channel on Pomme, and brush on steep bluffs also near the river channel on Stockton.

If you're really itching to get bit go to Pomme, I've had better luck there but way more small fish. Stockton has better quality fish but that lake has always been more of a puzzle for me.

Awesome! Thanks for the advice. Any recommendations on colors or jig head size? I'm really green at winter crappie fishing. I've never really done it before, so any advice from anyone is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks again

I tore em up on BGBS in blue ice around Thanksgiving, 1/16 weedless jig. Unfortunately I haven't been back since.

Saw a G3 Sportsman show where they were wearing them out on pink in wintertime, fishing offshore brushpiles at Stockton.

BGBS blue ice 1/6th oz. jig is where I would start.

I'm starting to think that feller is a bit of a braggart, he's always posting nice messes of fish, but seldom says how he caught 'em.

I'm guessing he's probably the guy that tells you "right in the corner of the mouth" when you ask him.

Maybe you better go back and look at some of his old post. Many times he tells not only how he caught them but the kind of jig and how deep. I for one want to thank him for that.

I agree with J.M. No one gives more detail about when where and how than Beagle. He will help anyone with info. Plus there’s not a more generous member on here!!!
Plus, the old boy can flat catch fish!!!
