Good read Charlie. Told me some of the old motor names I didn’t know were associated with OMC. Thanks.

One of the best Little motors I had many years ago was an Evinrude 6.6 hp.

If it's like mine,I'm sure he or they are enjoying it immensely...Late 50's early 60's Raceline 14' aluminum v-bottom, 1961 Evinrude Fastwin 18...I redid all the wood in it as it was all missing when I got it...

I had a 35HP 1984 Johnson and to this day, it was the best overall motor for power vs weight and ease of starting. Kept it 18 years. Should have kept it forever.
