Them are some Beautiful slabs SpeckHunter.... Hmmm..maybe not a fluke..
I`ve never trolled crainkbaits for slabs... just slow jigs...What size/color?
I did have a fluke day last week that i had couldnt get a bite from jig or minnow so I threw on a yellow roostertail , fired the big motor, and trolled
outta my cove hoping to maybe catch a whitebass.
To my surprise I pulled 3 slabs b4 i got outta the cove! So I turned around and did it again. 1 hour and 4 passes later I was limited plus 2 whitebass ,lol
I gave a guy in the same beggin for a bite situation a rooster tail after he saw
me makin passes and went home...
Did you have to cover alot of water? Dont you lose alot of crainkbaits? that could get expensive, I know i lose alot of jigs gettin in the thick of it...

I mainly troll Bandit 200's and 300's. I like the chrome with black back and chrome with blue back on sunny days. I'll use the pearl with red eyes or fire tiger on cloudy days. Pull them about 1 to 2 mph by gps. Watch the eletronics and find the fish in creek and river channels in the lake. I don't loose too many because I'm usually in deeper water. 18-30+ feet. Speck

Been tellin people about a 16' jonboat trollin rig im gonna build soon.. rigged also for nightfisshin slabs and minnow/crawdad trapping.. Thats when the real funs gonna start, lol Thanx again Speck !
