Anyone ever spray Slab Sauce in their Bobby Garland zip bag and leave it on the plastic? Just curious if it will eat anything up or maybe just marinates my plastics!? :dono

I too have wondered this very thing. Would it destroy any plastics if left to marinate? :dono

It shouldn't hurt them....its all natural....no solvents or petroleum products involved.

I just hold my line out over the side of the boat and give my bait a squirt. Its sticky will stay on your bait a long time. I even spray it on my crankbaits and after pulling at 1.7 mph after 20 minutes it's still leaves a trail in the water and you can still smell it and feel it on the crankbait. And yes...it does make a difference.

I know it stays well , just trying to keep everything sauced up and ready. I have a couple bags marinating so Iím happy to hear it is all natural and my trick is now a plan!

Thanks for all the comment!

Have Sauced up a couple bags of plastics. Hasn't stiffened them up yet. I think you'll be alright!

I just put a drop on the lure when I am ready to fish it. Seems to me it is fresher and the fish love it. Old school thought says "If it ain't broke then don't fix it."

I've had 2 bags sauced for about 3 months. Still holding up great. If'n they stop streaking in the water, I just take the one off and put it back in the bag and grab another fresh one. Works Great!

Have some 13 Fishing soft plastics that is Donkey Sauce infused (that's what package says) ---> SO <--- do Slab Sauce mix with Donkey Sauce? AND can I add Slab Sauce to a bag of 13 Fishing soft plastics (Donkey Sauce infused) and store it (like what this post is about) without a chemical reaction or explosion?

We are thinking you should be ok as long as you report it to homeland security....:yikes:Rofl

What is donkey sauce anyway? :dono

Donkey Sauce -----> Proprietary formulation of amino acids and proteins that trigger feeding and aggression in predatory game fish.

That's what the package says

I have not fished any 13 Fishing plastics.....but the look of them and the price......is very similar to Japanese soft plastics and many of their micro soft plastics are infused with ďamino acidsĒ. Donít know where the donkey sauce name came from but it sounds like same stuff that is in Ecogear plastics. I have fished those with the ďamino acidsĒ and did not have a lot of success.....but I must admit I did not fish them too long. I put those in another bag with some amino acids and they are still sitting there on my garage shelf.

I keep an opened sauce filled crappie nibble bottle on my boat where me and my fishing pup won't knock it over and then dip the jig as needed. Very convenient and has been working for me. And yes slab sauce works. I use the garlic.

I just apply the sauce as I as I go. I am apt to be trying multiple baits or even colors and just applying a little as I go allows me to cover all the different baits I use easily.

I do transfer the Slab sauce to a different style of bottle as I am not a fan of the spray applicator.

The bottles I use work like a bottle you would use to maybe apply eye drops or any type of fluid in a controlled drop by drop method. This allows me to easily apply the sauce exactly where I want it and no where else with absolutely zero waste.

I do think in tough conditions the Slab sauce helps.
