    Default Slow learning

Have had Humminbird and Helix for several years. Just learned something new today. On page 98 of manual you press MARK once will put waypoint at boat. If you move cursor to a distance point you have to press MARK TWICE to put waypoint at that location. Now I know why had trouble returning to that point.

U-Tube shortens the Learning Curve -- I am Installing my Helix 7 with the Upgrade to the HD transducer that gives a better Picture of the Bottom and Fish that you get with the Helix 10 or 12 --- I found this out on CDC -- You return the supplied transducer and mounting hardware unopened and swap for the XHS - HDSI 180T Cost $85 --- The upgrade without exchange is $169... Happy fishing

seems to me the technology moves faster than a speeding bullet . What we figure out today on a given device is old news tomorrow. The good news is some of this stuff surely gives us an advantage .
