I purchased a set of Maptech topo maps that covers the state of Tennessee. Here is the problems:

1. State is on 5 CD's
2. Will only run with cd installed
3. Can not transfer CD's to Hard drive
4. When you download, then upload waypoints, they vary by a tenth of a
degree at each upload. This might be ok for hikers, but not for fishing.
5. Talked to their tech support. They are aware of the problems, but not fixing
it.
6. No refunds.
7. To use maps, I have to print them, scan them, import to Oziexplorer, then
calibrate the map before I can use it.
8. They don't tell you this upfront.

Check out freeware 'USAPhotoMaps'

http://www.jdmcox.com/

can upload/download as well as print off hard copy. If you have a laptop can carry with you, jut can not set up a new location (lake) whitout internet connection. I'm still in the learning process of this but really enjoyed it while in AR.
