Default Made the wife happy yesterday

As I’ve been learning to troll crank baits and spider rig, my collection of 14’ poles has grown. When my rods are not stored on the boat they found a home laid across the deep freeze, my wife was no so happy with my choice of storing them but I had no alternative until I came across this at academy sports.Name: IMG_4940.jpg

So I found a spot on the ceiling above the boat Name: IMG_4939.jpg

Worked out really nice and the wife even smiled

That's exactly what I did about a year and a half ago. You'll like that much, much better... and I'm sure your wife is doing cartwheels and back flips around the house having them out of her way.
I see you had a couple of cold ones while you were puttin' it up too. Well done indeed.

If the wife is not happy...then no one will be happy. When a man pleases his wife then he himself gets pleased. Just sayin....

I started storing rods overhead several years ago and haven’t broken a rod since. There are several patterns and use of different materials. Mine are staggered 2’ ad so store a rod every 2 1/2” . I don’t have the space to turn mine in opposite directions and it works well for me. Great idea someone came up with that you have there.

Nice! The only thing I see needed is to buy 3 more rods to fill in those empty spaces.
