As long as the eyes are of the ceramic variety, they should due just fine. Have you also taken a look at the B n' M Sam Heaton Super Sensitive in the 7' model? I love mine.
I'm considering buying a few of these rods and was wondering how the guides handle a slip bobber stop?
I am looking at the 7ft rod.

Got one of these green models this summer after hitting the number. Very nice combo. I use it to bobber fish. Sometimes slider but usually just clip on bobbers about seven ft deep. No problem. I also got a seven ft Sam too. I use it to tight line brushpiles.
The 7-foot and the 9-foot Sam's super sensitive rods are great I got them both plus they're dark red and purdy to look at. Also the Shakespeare micro series 7 Foot Rod is great for the money about 17 bucks at Wally World. I like all the Shakespeare micro series rods.

I have 1 of the 8' and use it for slip bobber fishing and have never had a problem with the stops sticking. I use both the egg shaped and the thread type both.
