As I watched I noticed a lot of the pictures showed the anglers dressed in winter garb and/or had leaves on the ground but not on the trees. Makes me think that Fall/Winter is the time to catch the big ones....

I’ve caught em in all seasons but I seem to be able to zero in on them in the winter when they suspend in deeper water. Beats the cabin fever on breathless days in the 40’s and 30’s. I only last about 3 hours but have had some stellar days.

Great videos...I had seen them before.....Thanks to Crappie.com I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of the folks in these videos. All I can say is this...If you don't make the effort to attend one of these crappie camps...you just don't know what your missing. I hope to see old friends and make some new ones at Crappie.com Crappie Camps this coming year.

The "Bird is the Word" was one annoying song. I was at Leeward Point Field GITMO during the Cuban blockade. The marines played that bird song over and over on a big speaker aimed at the mountains where Castro was hanging out. Never forget.
