I use a double uni with great success. Use a little patience when learning this knot. It’s not that finicky but snugging it up and sliding it together can generate some heat which will weaken the mono. I use it on my 2lb Nano to 4lb mono for abrasion. Check the nano for weak spots before tying as that’s where I get most failures. The thin stuff has little abrasion resistance and wrapping a branch or rubbing something can create a spot that will break when you finish the knot and test its integrity. All those warnings said, I wouldn’t use anything else. The contact and cast ability outshine anything else I’ve ever used.

    Double albright works as well.

I use a leader because that nanofil knot is a booger to tie, especially on a hair jig. I can spin a trilene knot with my eyes closed.

That FG knot is a great not and very small. Slides right through micro guides with ease. I tie all my braid to mono at home with it, a little cumbersome and time consuming to tie on the water so I use double uni to uni on water. It is a fantastic knot though.

FG knot, easy to tie and small. Check YouTube for tutorials.
