    Someone needs to buy this. I don’t need a third fishfinder. This a good unit at a good price.

    Is there much difference in gen 1 and gen2 units

    Default Helix 9 SI gen1

    Gen 2 mega helix 9 has much clearer picture but used would be about $1k or more unless you find a great deal. Gen 3 is coming out soon which you could find prices on them at HB site.

    Gen2 and Gen2 Mega are 2 different animals

    Exactly. Gen 1 si vs g2 mega is a big leap in clarity. Just saying a g1 helix at this price is a good deal for a first unit.

    I got ya, there was a Gen2 before the Mega came out too.
    Somebody buy please, I dont need it but not sure I can resist much longer.
