    Default Did you vote today?

I hope Slab is OK with my post. I promise I won't get political.

I think voting is more than a privilege, I think it's a right that is to be protected at all costs.

My wife and I just came from our polling place and it's a madhouse. The parking lot was full and there was a line to get a ballot and a line to get a voting station. The poll workers said it had been that way since the polls opened. Our county uses paper ballots and that probably backs things up a bit. All the talking heads on TV say that mid-term elections don't matter. They should come out to fly-over country and ask that question.

I voted the second day of early voting. Crowds were like you say. It was awesome to see so many out.

I early voted here in TN. I understand that the lines are very strong today at the polls.

I was at my poll at 6:45, and there were already 100 people in line!

KY doesn't have early voting. Our county has a polling both set up in the Voter Registration office for those who won't be in town on Election Day to vote absentee. My knee replacement is doing well so I opted to wait till today to vote.

Nope! Did that about a week ago via "early voting", and I'm glad I did. Suppose to be a record turn out. The results should prove interesting.

Early voted on first weekend and waited 45 minutes in line, talked to people who voted this weekend and waited 2 hours to vote on Saturday and another waited hour and half to vote Sunday. Huge turnouts it seems.
