They appear to be intestinal worms. It’s common here to see an occasional parasitic worm in the meat of crappie. Those would cause me to toss that fish.

Sense they seem to be coming from the intestones and not the meat could you have cut the stomach and that was something the fish was eating?

See it here quite often usually cut out the red spot in the meat if it’s just small hole and keep on cleaning! I have heard that the parasite is from where fish stay up in shallow water in the summertime! Sorta like a wolve in a squirrel. Buy I usually toss those! Lol
