Brevard NC has tons of them. We went to see waterfalls and they are running all around the city there. These are not albinos though.
I have wanted to make some Albino squirrel tail jigs for a long time. One day while walking through a nearby park I spotted this one just staring at me with his pink eyes. It was as if he were saying "You do not have your BB gun with you. Nah Nah Na Nah Nah." Boy oh boy that squirrel did not realize how lucky he was that day.
If any of you are able to harvest an Albino Squirrel please send me just two inches of his tail. Remember to put Borax and Salt on the tail when you cut it off. That will preserve it and we can make some great squirrel tail lures.

I have 10 - 20 brown squirrels in my own back yard every day. They are not Albino though.

My local University had a albino squirrel and live a privileged life. The students feed him anything he wanted. He died 2 years ago of what most think was old age.
Could regular squirrel tails be bleached to make them white?
