Default Crappie USA Kentucky Lake Pics...

Fished the Crappie USA Tourn. on Kentucky Lake last Saturday w/ my 12 year-old daughter and ended up w/ just over 8 lbs. on 7 fish for 29th place. I was hoping to put at least 11 to 11.5 lbs in the livewell, but the big females I was catching Friday disappeared on Saturday? We ended up putting around 45 or so in the boat for the day after fighting the 25 mph South winds w/ many gusts much higher. Wind made it extremely tough to feel the bite casting 1/16 ounce jigs..especially for my daughter. However, we did manage to catch one a little over 2 lbs that ended up being the 6th largest fish weighed in the tournament and she caught 3 of the 7 we weighed in.

I had a blast fishing the tournament and watching her weigh-in! Best of all she can't wait to do it again next year w/ me! I'm very fortunate to be able to spend time like this w/ my daughter as it was a blast!

That's awesome! Looks like she had a big time! The wind was terrible last weekend. Sounds like to me you all did some good catch'n for the conditions.

Congrats! I believe that having a daughter that pretty who wants to spend time with dad is a sign of good parenting.

You did a very good thing. Outstanding and time well spent. She'll remember that when she's old and gray.
