Nice! We don’t see too many Pomme reports on here.
Great bite on Pomme today. It was tough going with the wind making it difficult to stay on top of brush piles, but finally managed to find a new pile that was out of the wind, so we decided to give it a try. We dropped 1/16 oz. jigheads (all colors seemed to work) tipped with minnows straight to the bottom of the pile and slowly reeled up through the pile. All 3 in the boat limited out off the same brush pile in an hour and a half. Most of the fish were in the 10" - 11" range. Donated several jig heads to the lake, but the crappie really seemed to be holding tight to the cover. Water temp was 67 degrees and was surprisingly clear with the rain we had yesterday. If you plan on fishing Pomme anytime soon, find a thick brush pile, bring lots of minnows, and lots of jigheads!
Good luck and tight lines!
FISH ON!
Thanks for the report.
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing polesGoose22 LIKED above post

Very nice! The water is way warmer there than my local lake. I went out Saturday and it was mid 50's in the shallows.
Congrats on your fantastic day!
