    Default Some days

are just better than others for sure . I found myself in quite a little crowd on a 2 person dock the other day and some 5 people on it . The good news is I pay no little nevermind to crowd ya kinda folks and keep dippin my jig like they aint there . of course it does cramp my style some and to be sure one of them was in my side spot and workin the fish over with shiners . now mind ya I was there second and that is the limit on that dock without it getting crowded and the number one is there frequently on my visits to that dock as well . but once again no worries and the family wanted to keep fish so I tossed the keepers to dad and the teenage girl beside me was making dad and her brother look like they never put a hook in the water before ,she was around 15 to none on both of them when I gave her brother my corner and said see ya .
the fish were VERY aggressive and thumping like a hammer on the jig I was dropping and were for the most part about mid water column at around 7 foot deep in 14 foot of water . them folks had quite a nice stringer when I left and her brother managed a fish right as I walked away .
I bet they had quite the fish dinner that evening for sure and dad was a smiling even though he never managed a fish and brother was frowning pretty bad a his lil sister smoked them puppies over the railing
average fish size was right about 10 inches with a small number of larger fish in the mix , I managed 42 in an hour and a half standing in that one spot .
hope you enjoy the photos and the read
and for sure KABOOM is the word
p.s. the ever dreaded cormorant birds have raised them ugly heads and I saw my first 2 of the year that day on that lake and the crappie as you will notice in the first photo ALREADY got fresh bites on them
