Grizzly jigs has replacement tip sections for most rods...give Lou Mansfield a call and see 1 800 305 9866
I broke my rod tip on my Mr. Crappie Slab Shaker combo at the CLASH yesterday so I’m shopping around for new. Think I’ve decided on the B’n’M sharpshooter six and the Plfueger president reel after hearing everyone’s opinions. I’m wide open to different suggestions but would like it 6’ or less. Dock shooting as well as general casting. And able to handle light weight lures. Thought about ACC Crappie Stix, Lew’s Wally Marshall and couple others. I’m wanting to buy from Grizzley Jigs and support them and others that support Crappie.com. Any comments, suggestions or opinions?

Dave .... consider a Norsemen Outdoors ESP 6' Powerlite rod :
Graphite Tenn Handle (no extended "poodle tail" on 6' version) - micro guides - very fast action tip ... Grizzly Jig carries Norsemen Outdoors ESP rods.
I use the 6.5' version (which has the extended handle) for general casting & dock shooting.
Here's mine :
IF I were to cut off the "poodle tail" ... it would be the same rod as the 6' version. That's the only difference between them.
And YES, I do tape my reel handles ... even with the rubber ring grips ... just as a precaution to any possible slippage of the rings.
I currently have a Okuma Stratus STX20 reel on the rod & it balances very well. The reel in the picture is a Shimano Aero 1000 which also balanced very well with the rod.

I’m either doing something wrong or search is not working. I can’t find any matching results
I like the Sharpshooter & Plfuegar President reel.
I second the ESP... great rod!
