    Default Surprise surprise

After weeks of no crappie on our brush, lo and behold, we visited one of our old favorites. Lay down live tree over dead brush below. We dropped a big block loaded with bamboo about a year ago in front of this lay down as it was in 24 feet of water. Water temp 75 degrees and surprisingly clear after days of rain. Tipped a small white jig with a small minnow and flicked (is that a fishing term?) it right at the edge of the lay down. Kaboom! Pulled 9 of the most gorgeous wide bodied blacks you ever wanted. Shut off like a light in about 12 minutes.

Ain't nothing like figuring those crappie out....I hate it when they shut off like they were never there...
A lot of times I've found changing baits weather it be color or size will sometimes get you a few more...
That's the fun in put'n um in the boat... gotta work at'um..
