    this is my first spring and i was wondering how long to expect the crappie to stay reasonably shallow here in the south ?

    Catch them in canals but they move in and out. When the water starts to get hot, their gone. CF

    just wanted to run this post through again, trying to figure out when to switch to something else other than crappie. its hard to tell since ive not been catching very many anyway.
