Made a trip to Pomme on Monday. Started off terrible, put new water pump in my little tin boat. Guess I didn't get the water tube put back in the grommet, must have missed, old eyes is my excuse!! Fished a couple hours on the trolling motor. After four drum I said screw this. Went to ramp to pull lower unit and put water tube back where it belongs. Had sockets and ratchet, no wrenches. Got to have a 5/8 wrench to remove lower unit on a 40 Merc. Decided to pull to Son's house and get it fixed, since I plan on going back to Pomme later this week, plus the son has my muffs at his house. Boat is fixed, mud Dauber's nest is cleaned out of spit tube. Water is circulating through outboard, no alarms, nice pee stream. Now will try again later in the week.

Hopefully cooler weather on your next trip. Good luck.
Glad everything is working as it should!
Didn't go this week after the weather people predicted all the rain we haven't got. Planning on going back Monday.

Yea, it stated off at 7+ inches of rain, then tailed off to 3+ inches. I think they are down to predicting .8 inches. I give up, just carrying my rainsuit and go.
