Default How Hot Did You Say It Was?

Thought you all would get a kick out of this. (I couldn't believe it myself and just had to take a picture!) Jan called me to the back door to see this pooped out squirrel, too hot and tired to carry his nut back to wherever he intended to go. So, he just crashed on my picnic table and said the heck with it! Pretty cute.

Temp got up into the mid 90's today with the heat index at 72. That correlates to 101 degrees! And with that humidity, even the wildlife is having a hard time to deal with it! Hope you guys stayed somewhat cool today. Just imagine how lucky you were not to carrying around that fur coat!

I actually see a few from time to time in little dirt bowls on the ground doing that sometimes as well , kinda of like you see a dog doing in the heat
