It changes every year with the weather.
can’t go wrong with late April thru 1st week of May.
if you can be flexible, keep checking on here for reports.
if fishing upstream then earlier then move down the lake as the lake warms.

Can't go wrong anytime of year! Best crappie lake ever! As Macbow says early in the spring upriver, later as water starts warming downriver, but both are good. normal pool is 706 if it drops below that Be careful there's a lot of timber right under surface ( try staying in river channel ) good graph with gps is great.
    I Don't Know,but I can always use help

Just head up 1st of May. Fishing will be good and MO Crappie camp will be going on. Good fishing good people good food. Don't get better than that.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

And plenty of crappie.com guys and gals to lean on to let you know where/how they're biting. Heck, Bill even cleans all my fish for me! He'd probably do the same for you!

Welcome to the board, by the way.
