    Default Cave Run report 8/23

My family went back to Cave Run last night for a wonderful night of fishing. It was a very cool night with temps falling down in the 50's and very calm on the water. We spider rigged most of the night then eventually anchored just off the channel over a big school of crappie, at nights end we ended up catching about 70 fish with 40 keepers. Several 10 to 13 inch fish, my wife Missy, laid it on me with her catching 24 keepers, me with 14 and my dear old mother contributing 2, lol. Water was 82 degrees which was down about 5 degrees from last week, fishing 30-32 fow about 12-14 feet deep, using chart/black and plain chartrues jigs some tipped with minnows. My brother in law and son had 15 keepers in their boat as well, God Bless.Name: 0824180657.jpg
