I saw a crappie condo @ Bass Pro Shop many years ago. It looked something like the one attached.... they had it in a large tank that had bass and crappie.... they used the tank for promoting lures...
They had a condo in the tank. I noticed the large crappie holding just under the plastic shade.... like he was hiding.....
I have a few of these in Richland Chambers Lake here in Texas but have not had a chance to fish them....I will in the summer pattern....
But I will fish around them not just beside them... Thanks for the info.... hope this photo helps....
