I am using Jenko rods for cranking and for casting. The 14's and the 12's have held up great!! Fast tip with a great backbone on the lower end. Have caught cats to 16 lbs on them and held up great. For bluegill and whitebass I am using their 7 foot Hypersense rods....fantastic product. My equipment gets beat up pretty good by clients but these rods have held their own!! BTW....try their crankbait series of lures for pulling cranks for crappies!

    Default Jenko Cypress Creek

Edit: reread the OP. Seems like a good price point.

Use them for longlining, and pulling cranks. Great rods in my opinion.

What size. How is the tip and sensitivity? How many eyes?

When I got started I bought some cheap rods, so I could make sure I'd like pulling jigs before I bought graphite rods. I've got 2-10' and 2-12' Cypress Creek rods. IMO, for a fiberglass rod, they are great. I have both Cypress Creek and Limit fiberglass rods, and have fished with both and for my tastes I prefer the Cypress Creek over the Limits.

After I got hooked on longlining, I bought some Jenko Spider-Trolls. They are great for pulling jigs, or spider rigging but they are not heavy enough to push cranks with 2 ounce weights. I found that out this weekend at Crankfest. They'll work, but the tip is bowed down about 18" with a 2 ounce weight. Having said that, I love the Spider-Trolls.

I may be wrong but I think at least one of the above replies is talking about the Jenko Spider Trolls because I don't think they offer the Cypress Creek rod longer than 12'. Like I said, I may be wrong though.

Yes 12 is the biggest for Cypress creek. I am still deciding between 8’ and 10’. Don’t know if any difference in tip sensitivity. I wanted something to pull jigs or cranks with. But also be able to jig with. So leaning a little towards 8’
