Default The finest ultralight I've ever fished

Is made by Jim Goughnour of www.rimcountrycustomrods.com. It's called the "Curt Rambo Signature Series", a 5'6" masterpiece. Curt Rambo is probably the grand daddy of Roosevelt Lake, AZ Crappie fishing and Jim has made this rod to his exact spec.

Yesterday I had the privilege to fish one and I must say, I've never fished a lighter more sensitive rod in my life. It also had plenty of "back bone". I landed a 15" large month with it that had no intentions of a boat ride.

This is not a advo for Jim, I'm just so impressed with the rod that I want to share this info with you all.

I wish it was mine. Jim donated to me and I'm going to raffle it off to raise money for the club.

It will be raffled on 4-21 at AZ Crappiethon 07, an event we do every year for members of www.azbasszone.com. We get a 100 person group camp site at Roosevelt Lake, camp for 3 nights and have a little tournament. I hope that with $10 raffle tickets I can raise a couple hundred bucks for the club.

    Anyone need a vacation?
