What's the best and cheapest place to get some line counting reels. Got a little gift card and I'm looking at spending it.

Northwoods outlet in Pinconning Michigan is one of the better places that I have found.

For inexpensive setups, the Shakespeare reels might be just what you are looking for.

Size 15 should do the trick for you!
We run a little different reel most of the time for walleye fishing but if I was looking for an inexpensive setup for crappie trolling, these reels would be it.

My Shakespeares don't seem to be as durable as the Okuma 15 dx reels we've been running for years . Okumas are slightly more . Something to think about. . Anyway... like G ( The King Of Airfried Crappie) said " Northwoods Outlet is unbeatable on price "

Ok. So what's the difference between 30 and 15. All I'm doing is crappie. Don't even know what a walleye even looks like.

I have been using the Okuma DX15 along with others and have been happy with them.Haven't tried the Shakespeares but suspect they are fine .(If G approves them that's good enough for me).Northwoods is one place I have bought Okumas. There are some guys who insist on higher quality/dollar reels but I am happy as a clam using them....I do store them in a airtight tote during off season to keep them and other reels from getting dusty....

15 and 30 relates to line capacity....The 15's are what I prefer for crankbaiting.

I thought this was the main page. I'm still new to this whole computer thing. But I think I got my answer anyways. Thanks
