Default My inline Trolling Charts , Ima gettin" there.....picks attatched

Inline trolling charts for Bandit 200 'n' 300 if conjured up. Takes time (and patience) on the water. I put in a full day this past Friday and finished off the Bandit 200-300 two (2) ounce weight chart for pulling. I only go out 30 foot because that is the max limit for the 2d sonar on a string. My new neighbor at the lake helped with the depth charting. He is a crappie fisherman.

I got tired of reeling in lots of line pulling baits. This helps and I can make tight turns too (kinda like pushing). One thing I like about pulling with the inline baits is that the pole isn't bowed from the weights when you pull. AND, my Pondtoon is a pulling machine.

The trolling speeds are based on my big motor speed. Idle speed is 1.2 mph then, nudge, nudge, nudge.

    PS

I found some fish (non carp) and I ain't telling nutin' 'cept I was following the 5 foot contour in the AM.

Thanks for the hard work to put that together. So, you could see your bait running on your Sonar?

My poles are about 15 degrees up with respect to surface. At 20 feet line, I moved to 30 degree up and the crank bait stayed at the same depth and was still on my sonar screen. At 15 degree up position, there is minimum down bend in the rod with the 2 oz weight at 20 foot line out averaging 1.5 mph. I don't pushing with bait bent poles. Pulling is lot easier to follow visually.

I calibrated my lines @ 35 foot, tis @ 35 foot on land and sea.

I can do that up to about 35 feet behind the boat. Easy to do this. Blueball has helped collect some depths with me too.

Well, thanks to him too. When you say 30 feet of line, is that from your rod tip, surface of the water, or from the reel?
